Race Route - Bicycle
Got Wheels? Sunday, June 8, the second annual 10.5-mile Grizzly/Oro Fino Loop Bicycle Ride will conclude Governor's Cup weekend festivities. Bring the whole family downtown and enjoy this exciting ride, which drew over 300 riders of all ages in the 2007 event.

After participating in one or two of the traditional Governor's Cup events on Saturday, hop on your bikes with family or friends and be a part of a new tradition on Sunday. For those who do not enjoy running but get pleasure from biking, this ride has been added especially for you!

Bike ride participants can choose a starting time of 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, or 9:30 a.m. when registering for the event. Each start time will constitute a "WAVE" and will have a unique bib number and color.

The bike ride starts at the parking lot of the old Federal Building south of the Lewis and Clark Library on Park Avenue and goes southwest up Grizzly Gulch. At the top of the hill, it turns northeast and returns down Oro Fino Gulch Road and then turns right onto Cruse Avenue for a short distance before the finish line. Riders then return the short 2 blocks to the parking lot staging area for refreshments and entertainment.

The ride is challenging, but is manageable for younger cyclists. Safety is a major consideration in all Governor's Cup events. All riders must wear helmets and all bike safety and rules of the road will be followed.
